Enchanted Forest!

Muir's Enchanted Forest will be located in the wooded area at the corner of Inner and Yellowstone Drives. The area is being planned by Muir Staff to provide an alternative to playground play. It will provide opportunities for language development, creative play, self-expression, planning and negotiating play with others... and FUN!!
OUTDOOR CLASSROOM!

Our school community is lucky to have a fabulous school garden on site! This project involves constructing a shelter in our outdoor classroom area. Staff and students are excited to take lessons outside even on drizzly or scorching days.
NEW PLAY STRUCTURES!
​
With input from our staff, students and the surrounding community we have created an amazing plan that will promote healthy activity, cooperation, safe and creative play. We are confident that it will captivate and serve students of all ages and abilities! This new area will replace the aging 'white metal' structures currently on the playground. The existing (and newer) blue playground, tire swings and swings will remain.
